2008 has been another successful year for Riverside Waste Machinery in North Yorkshire, seeing them continue to expand despite continuing, difficult trading conditions.

This year has seen a move to new 11,000 sq ft premises, the addition of four new staff and heavy investment in state-of-the art business management software to increase efficiency, drive sales and further improve customer service during 2009.

Chris Oldfield, Managing Director said Pushing forward and continuing to develop into new markets to further complement our range of UNTHA shredders and RWM baling machines is what separates us from our competitors. I am confident the investment made in 2008 will see us continue to grow during the coming year despite the global economic crisis.

The companys range of UNTHA shredders has grown with the introduction of the new TR range for high throughput applications including refuse derived fuel (RDF). These new machines complement the existing XR pre-shredder and further expand the high quality range of shredders for plastics, metals and general industrial wastes.

In addition, RWMâs already extensive range of premium vertical balers has grown and now includes a bottle piercing baler, a bag press and a new tyre baler.
