About Liz

In 1996, Liz completed her massage training with a Diploma in Therapeutic Massage and founded Essential Massage in 1997


Since then she has gained qualifications in numerous massage and alternative therapies and now offers a wide and varied range of treatments


Liz uses a holistic approach to her massages which means treating you as a whole person and not just a collection of symptoms

Massage and Parkinson's disease

The benefits of massage therapy have long been recognized by people with Parkinson's disease. Because Parkinson's disease typically causes muscle stiffness and rigidity, massages ability to ease joint and muscle stiffness and reduce aches and pains makes it a logical choice. Many people with Parkinson's disease (PD) find regular massage to be very helpful in addition to the conventional treatments.
